Tout d'abord "kicks up" du groupe italien The Banshee (merci Andy)
Et "Come together" du groupe australien PNAU; comme quoi, l'électro dance ça se joue partout dans le monde.
Mais de quoi est fait la tête de Thom Yorke pour trouver de telles idées ??? tourner un clip sans caméra, hum..... un dessin animé ? non. un film d'animation ? non plus. Mais alors de quoi s'agit-il ? et bien c'est assez compliqué.... en gros c'est un clip informatique...
Deux systèmes ont été utilisé
pour réaliser le clip de "House of
cards"; le premier, intitulé geometric informatics, a
permis de capturer en 3D les objets les plus proches, à savoir
principalement le groupe; le deuxième, intitulé velodyne
lidar, a lui pris les objets les plus lointains, en gros le
paysage. Et le résultat est plutôt étonnant,
fantomatique je dirais...
Pour mieux comprendre voila ce qu'en dit Thom Yorke: "J'ai aimé l'idée de faire une vidéo d'êtres humains et de vie réelle sans utiliser de caméras, juste des lasers, donc il n'y a que des points mathématiques, a expliqué Yorke. Et de voir à quel point le résultat peut être émotionnellement étrange."

Pork and beans, le premier single du dernier
album de Weezer, " the red album". Cette chanson est une nouvelle
fois entêtante et le clip comme d'habitude
génial...
Le groupe français le plus jouissif du moment s'appelle Revolver. Un premier Ep qui vient de sortir et l'on voit déjà ses 3 jeunes en haut de l'affiche. Ambroise, Christophe et Jérémie jouent ensemble depuis 2006 et leur musique de "pop de chambre" inspirée tout aussi bien par Elliott Smith, les Beatles, ou les Beach boys, s'avère très riche. Un des grands espoirs de 2008 côté français...
